Sandra Sartor

Winemaker, Vineco

Sandra brings a wealth of winemaking experience into her role as Vineco’s Winemaker. Born in Hamilton, Ontario she studied both psychology and chemistry at McMaster University. This dual background has led her to develop products that appeal to consumer emotions as well as their palette.

She began working with Andres Wines (now Andrew Peller Ltd.) in 1987, and moved through several research and development roles. Her interest in the wine industry continued to evolve. She attended several winemaking and food science courses to further her understanding of this industry.

Sandra has traveled extensively to some of the worlds most renowned winemaking regions to further her expertise including California, South America and in various parts of Europe. In her current role, she uses her expertise to produce products reflective of the quality that global consumers demand. Her goal is to continue to present wine products that reflect international trends and style.
